Legal changes

Due to the "Nieuwsbrief Loonheffingen"

The following changes have been implemented in Profit because of the "Nieuwsbrief Loonheffingen" of the Dutch tax authorities.

Country of residence

Several new deductions at source tables apply as from 2019. A distinction is made between residents and non-residents of the Netherlands:

  • Employees who are residents in the Netherlands
  • Employees who are residents of another EU country, EEA country, Switzerland or BES islands
  • Employees who do not fit in the categories above

This means that 3 white month tables, 3 green month tables, 3 white 4 week tables, etc. are being added.

We derive the country of residence from the address of the employee. It is therefore important that this has been defined correctly in the properties of the employee.

Addition

Two changes apply in 2019 for the addition of the private car use. The 0% additions of the 'Reason for no addition of car' code table will, for example, no longer apply. The Tax Authorities prescribes that you must calculate an addition above the limit amount for cars without CO2 emissions with a high value.

Two new fields are available in the properties of the car or when adding a new car.

CLA

AFAS distributes the Profit CLAs for 2019 once we have entered and calculated the new figures. If the figures are not yet complete, we will wait as long as possible with distribution. It may therefore be the case that you may have to wait for the distribution of the CLA because the body has not yet made all figures known. We will distribute all CLAs by 12 January 2019 at the latest even if they may contain a few figures for 2018. When this is the case, we will issue an update during January when all data is known.

Consult the CLA Release Notes for the national and CLA specific changes.L

APG payment settings

ABP wants one payment per pension delivery instead of one payment per product as from 2019.

Up to Profit 9, you could set up the payments per product (scheme). This meant that the payment method and date could deviate. This option will no longer apply as from 2019.

Only one payment type is available as from 2019: ABP premium payment.

The payment type will be converted to ABP premium payment in the conversion to Profit 9.

Note:

If you set up a payment with retroactive effect over 2018, this will still be performed through the old set-up per product (scheme).
